We’re seeking someone to join our Analytics & Data tech team as a Python Software Engineer - AI Platforms in Wealth Management Technology.

This is a Python Software Engineer position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:
Design and build distributed, scalable, and reliable AI platforms and use cases
Integrate with other platforms and data sources through designing and implementing APIs
Collaborate with other teams to design and develop data tools that support both operations and product use cases.
Prototype and showcase AI use cases - Be able to complete PoCs and smaller engagements on their own
Perform analysis of data, logs, architecture requirements to support building of the platform and tools
Evaluate technologies, participate in PoC and prototyping solutions to improve our capabilities
Work with vector databases to build performant RAG solution
What you'll bring to the role:
6+ years of hands-on programming Python (or Java with python at least) – ideally as backend/full stack engineer
Experience designing and implementing large, distributed platforms
Knowledge of various components of public and private cloud ecosystems and experience in applying them to practical problems
Experience in data manipulation, pipelining and MPP systems and concepts
Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
Excellent technical and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Stable knowledge of base concepts and methods around LLMs (RAG, Prompting, etc)
At least personal hands-on experience with LLMs
Ability to drive ideas to end results by collaborating and involving the people needed to reach consensus
Nice to have:
Background or hands on experience in Machine learning and/or Data science
Experience with UI and frontend frameworks
Knowledge of Private Banking & Wealth Management domain
Hands-on experience and working knowledge with either of the technologies: OpenAI, Scale, Snowflake, Spark, Kore, Node.js
Hands-on experience with building LLM based solution
