Position: Python Developer - Remote

Job Description:
We are looking for a self-motivated Python Developer to assist in the development, expansion, and maintenance of in-house software solutions. This role involves working with large data sets, automating processes, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance and optimize utility data management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and experience in data processing and backend automation.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and technical design specifications. Develop automation processes for utility data management. Design, implement, test, and support new and existing applications. Convert data from non-standard sources into usable formats. Automate backend processes and optimize system performance. Collaborate with internal teams to develop IT solutions based on business needs. Provide training and support to users of newly developed or modified software.

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience with the following technologies: Python (Pandas, NumPy, PyODBC, SQLAlchemy) C# MS SQL Server Data conversion from non-standard sources Scheduled automation of backend processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. UI/UX design experience is a plus. Experience in the utility industry is a plus.

Work Schedule & Modality:

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week Remote position, but must be able to commute to San Juan in a few months as the position will transition to hybrid.
