The Opportunity:

UST is looking for 01 Semiconductor S/W Product Development Engineer

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Develop robust and scalable software solutions using Python and OOPs Work on low-level system interactions such as process management, file systems, networking, and OS integration. Debug, analyze, and optimize system performance issues. Propose and implement improvements in architecture, process, and development practices. Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration. Take ownership of modules or features from concept through deployment and maintenance. Write clean, maintainable code and produce thorough documentation.

 

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Python with experience in writing system-level scripts/tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical issues. Solid understanding of operating systems, processes, memory management, and networking. Demonstrated initiative in identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and driving implementation. Experience with tools like psutil, subprocess, threading, or asyncio is a plus. Familiarity with Linux-based environments. Experience in automation, monitoring, or infrastructure tools. Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker. Prior work in a DevOps, SRE, or hardware/software integration role.

 

Qualification:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
