Python Developer – AI Agent Development

Department: Govt Customer-Springfield

Location: Springfield, VA

TENICA is looking to hire a Python developer with the curiosity and technical foundation to support the development of AI agents. 

 Must have active TS/SCI with CI poly.  

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Python-based tools and utilitiesPrepare, clean, and structure datasets for use in AI/ML pipelinesCollaborate on developing AI agents, including integration and orchestration logicWork with technical leads to understand requirements and translate them into codeResearch and apply modern Python libraries related to data manipulation, APIs, and automationWrite clear, maintainable, and well-documented codeSupport iterative testing and improvement of agent behavior

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Proficiency in Python with 2–5+ years of hands-on experienceFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts, or strong interest in learning quicklyExperience with data processing tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy)Comfort working with JSON, APIs, and automation workflowsPrior experience in a secure or classified environment is preferredClearance: MUST HAVE active TS/SCI with CI poly
