PwC Legal operates as a distinct and independent law firm, closely collaborating with PwC across New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and beyond. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert legal advice whilst staying abreast of employment law developments.
Achieve successful outcomes in employment litigation and disputes through strategic and commercially-driven representation.
Manage complex cases and projects efficiently, developing and executing strategic plans.
Draft and review legal documents to ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard client interests.
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to provide precise and reliable advice.
Foster strong client relationships and communicate effectively.
Lead, mentor, and support the professional development of junior solicitors.
Actively contribute to business development while adhering to professional ethics.
Continuously advance your legal knowledge and skills through ongoing learning.
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or LLB (Honours) degree.
Admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand (although we will also consider foreign-trained candidates with a labour law background).
Current practising certificate from the New Zealand Law Society (NZLS).
3-4+ years of PQE in a distinguished New Zealand law firm or in-house employment law team.
At least 2 years of focused experience in employment law.
Demonstrated strong business acumen.
Dedication to delivering exceptional and high-quality client service.
