As an **PVT Engineer Ford Champ** **,** you will be embedded within the Vehicle Assembly Plant, working alongside the production team and under the mentorship of experienced PVT Engineers. This unique position provides an immersive learning environment where you will gain practical experience in ensuring vehicle quality and resolving manufacturing challenges. You will support the PVT Engineer in their responsibility as the 'first line of defense' for functional system quality. This involves learning to identify, analyze, and support the resolution of quality and manufacturing issues that arise during vehicle production. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about problem-solving, continuous improvement, and gaining a deep understanding of how engineering designs translate into finished vehicles on the assembly line. **What you´ll do:** + **Production & Launch Support:** Assisting with pre-production meetings, managing action items for new vehicle launches, and supporting Total Value Management (TVM) activities and plant-level issue resolution. + **Quality Data Analysis & Improvement:** Learning to analyze warranty data (GSAR, QNPS/GQRS/JDP), supporting First Time Through (FTT) initiatives, and participating in Variability Reduction Team (VRT) meetings. + **Problem Solving & Process Enhancement:** Supporting the development of 6 Sigma projects and coordinating deep-dive analysis to resolve complex issues and improve overall processes. **What you´ll need:** + Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automotive, or a closely related discipline + 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening) + Strong analytical and communication skills + Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn about vehicle manufacturing and quality processes. + Basic understanding of vehicle systems or manufacturing processes. + Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab). + Ability to present information clearly and concisely. + Experience in a project-based academic setting or an internship demonstrating problem-solving aptitude. **Requisition ID** : 50532
