Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a purchasing specialist based in Richmond, Virginia. Primary duties involve overseeing and carrying out daily procurement operations to meet the organizations ongoing operational requirements. This Purchasing Specialist must have 2+ years of experience with purchase order tracking, data entry, vendor communication, or was previously in a procurement or supply chain support role. The Specialist must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. The Purchasing Specialist will work closely with departments such as accounting, production, and operations to ensure procurement activities align with internal requirements and timelines and maintain correct purchasing activity records. Additionally, the role supports ongoing improvements in purchasing processes, supplier performance, and cost optimization. The pay rate for this role ranges from $40-$45/hour based on experience.
