Purchasing Planner

Purpose of Role: The Purchasing Planner fulfils a critical role within the WME Procurement team through responsibility for the procurement of materials. The post holder will be required to work effectively with the Procurement team, Supply Chain and the wider business to ensure delivery of product. The job holder will be responsible for converting Purchase Requisitions created via MRP to Purchase Orders or Stock Transfer Orders and then managing those Orders through to completion.

Convert and raise Purchase Orders / Stock Transfer Orders for assigned vendors and/or sitesEnsure delivery of goods and documentation on time in full Manage orderbook and communicate with internal and external suppliersUpdate SAP with delivery confirmations and/or date changes and other relevant information within agreed service level agreementsSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Experience in the Planning and Procurement (PP) module of SAP is preferableGood knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly ExcelFluent EnglishExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilities<Must be permanently authorised to work in the country to which you are applying, without sponsorship.>
