Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Director of Purchasing to lead our purchasing and procurement operations. This role is central to the continued success of our production goals and requires a proactive leader who thrives in a hands-on, highly collaborative environment.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all purchasing and procurement activities across standard and specialty machine productionMaintain relationships with current vendorsCollaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to anticipate material needs and align with production timelinesImplement purchasing strategies that support quarterly equipment production targets of $6.5 millionImprove performance and utilization of the Epicor ERP system to optimize workflow and efficiencyMaintain appropriate levels of safety stock without inflating inventoryServe as a direct contact point for employees across departments, reflecting our open, flat management culture
Essential Skills
10–20 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environmentDeep knowledge of engineering workflows, production planning, and project managementProven ability to develop vendor relationships and anticipate supply needsFamiliarity with Epicor ERP or similar systems, with a track record of process improvementAdaptable, culturally aligned professional able to integrate smoothly into existing structures without overhauling current processesStrong communication and decision-making skills, capable of earning trust across multiple departmentsWork EnvironmentThis role requires working on-site five days a week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
