Purchasing Manager
Description We are seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing and procurement operations. This role is central to the continued success of our production goals and requires a proactive leader who thrives in a hands-on, highly collaborative environment. 🏭 Key Responsibilities Oversee all purchasing and procurement activities across standard and specialty machine production Maintain relationships with current vendors Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to anticipate material needs and align with production timelines Implement purchasing strategies that support quarterly equipment production targets of $6.5 million Improve performance and utilization of the Epicor ERP system to optimize workflow and efficiency Maintain appropriate levels of safety stock without inflating inventory Serve as a direct contact point for employees across departments, reflecting our open, flat management culture Skills epicor, purchasing, vendor management, solidworks Top Skills Details epicor,purchasing,vendor management Additional Skills & Qualifications 10–20 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment Deep knowledge of engineering workflows, production planning, and project management Proven ability to develop vendor relationships and anticipate supply needs Familiarity with Epicor ERP or similar systems, with a track record of process improvement Adaptable, culturally aligned professional able to integrate smoothly into existing structures without overhauling current processes Strong communication and decision-making skills, capable of earning trust across multiple departments Experience in manufacturing industry Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr. -Company offers flexible benefits package-Off all major holiday's as well as the day after Thanksgiving and Good Friday.
