Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team in ElGouna. Hurghada, Egypt. As the Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing our purchasing processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans aligned with organizational goalsManage the entire procurement lifecycle, from forecasting and planning to order placement and deliveryBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, both local and internationalAnalyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisionsOversee inventory management and warehousing activities to ensure optimal stock levelsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their purchasing needsImplement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiencyNegotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricingResolve supplier disputes and address quality issues promptlyLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes and reduce costsManage and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environmentPrepare and analyze purchasing reports for senior managementStay informed about international trade regulations and practices affecting procurement activitiesQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial roleProven track record of successful supplier relationship management and contract negotiationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and optimize inventory levelsProficiency in purchasing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent financial acumen and ability to analyze cost structuresDemonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing new technologiesStrong leadership and team management skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiencyKnowledge of international trade regulations and practicesExperience working with suppliers in Egypt and the Middle East is preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic decisionsCommitment to ethical practices and maintaining the highest standards of integrity
Additional Information
*Experience Required: * Minimum 5 years in sales management, preferably with classic background.
