SUMMARY: This position will lead the Supply Chain organization and initiatives at the plant level to drive efficiencies and cost reduction targets for both offshore and domestic produced products, equipment, supplies and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

Leading and managing a team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging with suppliers to secure goods and services.Supply chain network optimization through strategic sourcing.Moving product lines from one country to another to support the future state of Supply Chain.Create partnerships with international and domestic suppliers to optimize the total landed cost.Develop, implement, and manage a cross-functional, fully coordinated purchasing planning process that incorporate make versus buy, supplier capacity planning, supplier scheduling, supplier inventory, material and associated cost elements.Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, and assembly operations to ensure 95% plus timely delivery by establishing and supervising schedule to proactively identify and address any issuesIdentify, develop, and manage positive relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targetsEstablish, implement, and run system to evaluate, supervise and report supplier scorecard performance.Participate in Metrics and Quality review meetings to resolve quality non-conformances.Establish and implement methods and standard methodologies related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material controlIssue PO’s and support the team with tactical execution during high volume days.Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:       

Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, management or other related subject is required.10+ years’ experience in supply chain or procurement with a minimum of five years’ experience in international supply chain3+ plus years in leadership role overseeing the work of team/department requiredStrong negotiation skillsSolid written and verbal communications skillsManufacturing environment experience requiredAdvanced ERP/MRP system experienceGood analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.   

Pay Range:

112,000.00 - 168,000.00
