MISSION

To lead Buyer/PPL team to achieve economic, quality, service purchasing targets and the project team’s objectives.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

•    Ensure the achievement of the purchasing budget in his/er Country.
•    Monitor local purchasing objectives, aligned with corporate and local objectives.
•    Take part in defining the suppliers optimum panel and take responsibility for its execution.
•    Ensure all assignment processes are presented to the Assignment Committees.
•    Ensure fulfillment of the Purchasing function in all the FDS (Ficosa Development System) stages.
•    Represent the Purchasing function in the projects linked to improvement teams (e.g., stocks reduction, suppliers’ panel reduction, charges administration, supplier quality, etc.).
•    Coordinate and prioritize Buyer/PPL team activities.
•    Lead the Suppliers Performance Review meetings.
•    Participate in the Savings Opportunity List (SOL) and ensure its actions are implemented.
•    Apply all standard methodologies according to Ficosa's Purchasing System.
•    Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
•    Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values. 
•    Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used. 
•    Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background:  

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Languages:  

Fluent local language & Fluent English (written & spoken)

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in a similar position or as a Plant Quality Manager. Experience in other functions (engineering or production) would be of additional value OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training:

Specialized in Quality would be of additional value
