At JLG, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to gain real-world experience in Purchasing Data Analytics within our Global Supply Chain Management team based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.
HOW WILL YOUR WEEK LOOK LIKE?
As a Purchasing Data Analytics Intern, you will support our Strategic Purchasing and Global Sourcing teams with data-driven insights that help improve supplier performance, cost efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
Your weekly tasks may include:
Assisting in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of purchasing data from internal systems (such as MAPICS or global Warehouse DATABRICKS)Building and maintaining dashboards and reports to support sourcing strategies and supplier evaluationsSupporting data classification of commodities, suppliers, and spending categoriesCollaborating with Buyers and Purchasing Agents to track and monitor cost-saving opportunitiesContributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives using Excel, Power BI, and VBA/macros, DAX and POWERQUERY (will be a plus)YOUR BACKGROUND

Bachelor’s or master’s student in Business, Data Analytics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or relatedStrong skills in Excel, and understanding of Data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processFamiliarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plusDetail-oriented, structured, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environmentAble to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plusStrong sense of initiative, ownership, and collaborationWHAT WE OFFER
