Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between external suppliers and Ameridrives by performing the following duties and generating purchase orders to restock standard products. Maintain reports and records as necessary to support this activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review delivery schedules and related information and confer with buyer planners to prioritize requirements of overdue materials and to track material arrival.Examine material delivery reports to verify conformance to delivery dates to Ameridrives and that correct MRP transactions were indeed made. Correct said reports as issues are found to maintain MRP health.Support transfer of materials and/or necessary information to suppliers in a timely manner to meet supplier processing requirements and to communicate their needs back to Ameridrives.Compile and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and inventory status and location of materials.Monitor inventory via cycle counts and generate replenishment Purchase Orders for MRO materials as well as various ‘stock’ parts and related office supplies.Critical Competencies
