Purchasing Coordinator
Job Title: Purchasing CoordinatorJob Description The Purchasing Coordinator will support the procurement activities of the company by assisting with the sourcing, ordering, and tracking of components and materials used in the manufacturing of medical devices. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a regulated environment. Responsibilities + Place purchase orders for materials, components, and supplies based on demand forecasts and production schedules. + Follow up with suppliers to confirm order receipt, lead times, and delivery schedules. + Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with FDA and ISO standards. + Assist in supplier communications regarding pricing, availability, and quality concerns. + Coordinate with Receiving, Quality, and Inventory teams to resolve discrepancies and nonconformances. + Monitor inventory levels and generate replenishment orders as needed. + Help maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and vendor files. Essential Skills + Bachelor Degree preferred + Experience in Purchase Order management + Proficiency in Excel + Experience communicating with suppliers + Inventory management experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong attention to detail + Organizational skills + Effective communication skills through phone and email + Desire to learn and improve Excel skills Work Environment The Purchasing Coordinator will have their own office space and coordinate closely with the receiving, quality, and inventory teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
