**Shift** : Full-Time, Monday thru Friday 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and as needed

**You Will Be Responsible For:**
+ Performs accurate product inventory prior to placing orders.
+ Places food and supplies orders with approved vendors in accordance with NS guidelines, using the CBORD computer program.
+ Receives deliveries, monitors and tracks food temperatures of perishables, and stores items promptly in order to maintain food safety according to HACCP guidelines.
+ Communicates with staff to avoid shortages and ensure adequate stock is available for needs in all areas of the department; takes immediate action when shortages occur; offers appropriate substitutions.
+ Communicates with FPC as needed to resolve back orders, shortages; follows correct procedure for additional product orders; promptly communicates to area leadership and staff issues which may affect production and service.
+ Maintains accurate records and processes invoices according to NS guidelines; submits to FPC in timely manner for payment.
+ Communicates with vendors on product and delivery issues, including quality, price, and product errors.
Qualifications

+ Food Service warehouse (Preferred)
**Job Summary:**
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for maintaining the department inventory control and ordering system. Coordinates the routine purchasing for all food and supplies. Responsible for monitoring all resources and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Receives all orders in accordance with HACCP principles. Communicates with staff to avoid shortages and ensure adequate inventory; takes immediate action when shortages occur. Maintains safety and sanitation standards in storage areas; labels, dates, and rotates stock. Keeps accurate records and processes all invoices according to guidelines.
