Our client is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join its team. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and communication skills, supreme customer service, and ability to manage multiple priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Purchasing Clerk
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay Rate: $23 - $26/hr. based on experience.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday:8am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch. No overtime.
Duration:  Ongoing

What’s the Job?

Purchase of goods, materials and services required per client’s site. Conducts buying activities in compliance with federal requirements and company’s policy. Analyzes quotes, negotiates price, terms & conditions and awards purchase orders. Facilitates and issues Purchase Orders for request Facilitates timely processing of Purchase orders. Collaborates and actively engages with the Purchasing Team/Great Team player. Maintains good vendor relations. Communicates timely, regularly and effectively via telephone and email in a professional manner. Problem-solves issues & complaints. Assists other team members when applicable. Other projects as assigned.
What’s Needed? 1 – 2 years of purchasing experience High School Diploma or GED Demonstrates exceptional Customer Service Excellent writing and speaking skills to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and offer support to other areas as needed. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional, productive, and cooperative working relationships with customers at all levels, co-workers and vendors. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization.
