Job Title: Subcontractor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated subcontractor who will be responsible for requesting quotations for materials and services, evaluating bids for pricing and delivery commitments, and acting as a backup to the Outsourcing Procurement Agent. This role involves close collaboration with scheduling and engineering teams to assist with production bottlenecks. The position requires performing data collection for all spend data based on assigned commodities and participating in sourcing activities as part of cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will update and maintain vendor files in the system and may need to visit or facilitate visits with suppliers. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

ResponsibilitiesRequest quotations for materials and services.Evaluate bids for pricing and delivery commitments.Act as a backup to the Outsourcing Procurement Agent.Collaborate closely with scheduling and engineering teams to assist with production bottlenecks.Perform data collection for all spend data based on assigned commodities.Participate in sourcing activities as part of cross-functional teams.Update and maintain vendor files in the system.Facilitate visits with suppliers if required.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMinimum of two years’ experience in procurement or managing suppliers.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).Strong communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills.Collaborative nature to ensure stakeholder management and engagement.Flexibility and ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of SAP is a MUST.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
