Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Merced, California. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Purchasing Director, ensuring smooth operations. • Communicate with vendors to gather necessary information, request documentation, and support supply chain tasks. • Assist in drafting and preparing contracts using pre-designed templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines. • Execute established procurement procedures with a meticulous focus on detail and adherence to deadlines. • Maintain organized records of procurement activities, including contracts and vendor communications. • Collaborate with internal team members to support seamless workflow and efficient procurement processes. • Monitor deadlines for projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion without compromising quality. • Utilize office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage administrative tasks effectively.
