We are looking for a highly analytical, business and technically versatile data analyst to join our Purchasing and Supply Chain team.

This role enables merging and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive cost savings, process optimizations, and strategic purchasing and supply chain decisions across the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and data analytics, contributing to a major global digital transformation initiative.

What will your responsibilities be?

Analyze large datasets related to purchasing and supply chain operations to identify business process inefficiencies, logistics optimization opportunities for future business footprints and volume flows, and the generation of cost-saving ideas.Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.Support the expansion of our risk management framework by leveraging data analytics towards an automated, data driven and intelligent approach to further strengthen towards a most resilient supply chain.Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor supplier commercial performance / benchmarking and support strategic decision making.Provide data-driven insights to business teams to optimize supplier footprint in EMEA and design cost-efficient supply chain networks based on landed cost analysis.Present complex information using data visualization techniques.Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams to guide stakeholders toward data-informed decisions.Support a large-scale business transformation project focused on end-to-end digitalization of purchasing processes, including internal and external interfaces, driving our function to a “touchless” efficient and data driven process.Aggregate and transform raw data into executive-level summaries and presentations, including actionable recommendations.Work with SQL databases, Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to extract, transform, visualize, and communicate data.Apply ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques to clean and enhance datasets for analysis and reporting.Potential opportunity to participate in an IT project coordinated by the European commission.


Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or a related degree/equivalent experience.0 – 3 years’ experience business intelligence / data analysis within purchasing or supply chain functions.Strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain business processes.Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) to effectively communicate insights.Familiarity with data storage solutions, databases, and data processing frameworks.Experience with ETL processes and data cleansing techniques.Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in international and cross-functional teams.English Language: C1/C2 level.Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.High level of curiosity and inquisitiveness to connect solutions with the needs of the business.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in supply chain network design or landed cost modeling.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QAD).Knowledge of supplier commercial performance evaluation, purchase price analytics, logistics cost and packaging capex forecasts, inventory optimization etc.Exposure to digital transformation projects in procurement or logistics.
