Purchase Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support our international fleet operations. This position is based in Lisbon, and it is one year contract.
This role involves, data entry for contracts, creating purchase orders, and maintaining vehicle data across multiple countries to ensure smooth and efficient purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the data entry of contracts, ensuring accurate and timely input into procurement systems.Create and process purchase orders in alignment with company policies and operational needs.Maintain and update vehicle data records across various markets to support fleet management.Coordinate purchasing activities to provide support and coverage for multiple countries in Europe (or relevant regions).Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and timely delivery.Monitor and follow up on order status, resolving any discrepancies or delays.Assist in contract management and supplier documentation.Support the implementation of purchasing procedures and best practices across the international network.Analyze purchasing data and reports to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support strategic decisions.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.Minimum 2 years experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in automotive, rental, or related industries.Strong data management skills, with experience in contract data entry and purchase order processing.Ability to work across multiple countries and coordinate with diverse teams.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficient in MS Office and procurement or ERP software.Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.Strong analytical skills to interpret data, generate reports, and support decision-making.Preferred Skills:
Experience with vehicle fleet data management.Familiarity with international purchasing procedures.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.Proficiency in data analysis tools or software (e.g., Excel advanced functions, BI tools) is a plus.What We offer:
