Sheridan Maine have the pleasure of working with an international company in Reading who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor. The role will be hands on with the day to day activities within the department as well as mentoring staff and contributing to a number of accounts payable related projects.
Key duties of this senior Accounts Payable position will include:
Processing invoicesAuthorising supplier paymentsPerform bank reconciliationsDealing with escalated payment and invoice queriesApproving expensesSet and monitor work KPIsProvide training and mentoringConduct reviews and staff appraisalsDevelop and streamline current working processesAssist with the annual auditEnhance and build on accounts payable reporting
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and proceduresPrior experience of a supervisory or management role in financeAn eye for detail and good with a variety of systemsExcellent interpersonal skills and able to build solid working relationships
