Position Details Advertising/Posting Title PurCard Specialist Posting Summary Assist in the administration of the UVM Purchasing and Fuel Card Programs. Program management requires utilization of specialized bank credit card software; order new cards; distribution of new and renewal cards; verify training; update and maintain credit card data in accounting system; assist cardholders with declines, questions, etc. Work with issuing bank. Audit journals and receipts. Total PurCard spend in FY25 was $31.7 million and 119,500 transactions. There are 1,700+ PurCard holders and 300+ fuel cards on campus. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) + Associates degree in related field with accounting course work. Associates degree in Accounting or Business is desirable. + Two to three years accounting office experience. + Typing speed of 35 words per minute. Accuracy and speed in processing transactions are required. + Computer experience with a variety of software, such as word processing and spreadsheet applications. + Strong communication skills, especially writing emails, and using meeting software. + Strong analytical skills for problem resolution. + Ability to interact with many levels of University personnel. + Ability to set priorities and monitor workload. + Ability to multi-task, handle stress, meet deadlines, and maintain a professional disposition. Desirable Qualifications Associates degree in Accounting or Business is desirable.
