Quanex is looking for a Punch Press Machinist to join our team on 1st shift, Monday – Thursday, 5:00AM -3:30PM, located in Owatonna, MN.
In this role you are responsible for setting up and operating all power-driven punch presses while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity

What Success Looks Like:

Able to exercise judgement in determining the quality of parts, analyzing quality problems. Operate punch press in punching, countersinking, bending and cutting in the production of steel parts. Make necessary adjustments to press, feeder, and straightener as necessary to facilitate production of quality parts. Monitor the safe working conditions of equipment and the work area within the cell and taking corrective actions. Coordinate and collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless operations.

 

What You Bring:

Experience in manufacturing operations preferred. Experience using common hand tools, various types of measuring instruments, and operating a power hoist. The hourly wage for this position is $21.00
