POSITION SUMMARY

The Division Vice President Integrated Business Planning is responsible for aligning strategic, financial and operational plans across the organization to enhance agility, customer service, profitability and sustainable growth. This role leads the definition and execution of inventory policies, targets setting and replenishment strategies to optimize inventory performance across core and new product portfolio. The position plays a critical role in driving cross functional alignment - bringing Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D and Operations to develop and maintain a consensus driven business-based plan that supports company goals.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manages and leads teams to balance customer demand and supply capabilities to maximize customer service by reducing stockouts, overstocks and obsolete finished goods inventory. Hires, trains, develop, creates project plans, career development, performance goals and evaluations, in addition to performance reviews and disciplinary concerns for the department team. Develop, optimize and manage short- and long-range plans. Improve performance for the $1.6 billion sales by managing finished goods inventory, customer service, demand and supply planning, and production flow to maximize facilities efficiency in collaboration with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Sales and Marketing. Drive changes and recommendations in operational efficiencies to support long-term business growth. Responsible to manage the 24 month rolling demand and capacity plans in the company. Drive Supply Chain Optimization initiatives; develop strategies to address constrains in Supply to maximize top line profitable sales and ensure facility efficiency; establish best practices and course of action for challenges and opportunities including inventory planning as it relates to replenishment strategies and analytics. Establish Inventory levels, formalize and implement inventory plans and targets; identify and execute inventory reduction opportunities backed with ROI. Standardize inventory management and planning processes and policies across supported business units including inventory settings, days of supply coverage targets, order minimums, lead time management, and replenishment orders. Create, implement and improve performance analysis processes for inventory planning and strategy for Supply, Inventory and Demand Planning to maximize inventory availability. Aggregate and understand unconstrained demand; identify potential shifts in demand; analyze current impact and propose solution for future production capacity and inventory levels Research and implement new tools/models to accelerate go-to-market models that optimize distribution Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Finance, or related field Ten (10) years’ experience in Planning and Inventory Management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA’s)

Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to manage complex data sets, extract meaningful insights and prioritize key findings to support data driven decision making. Effective leader with a broad skill set, combining facilitation and coaching capabilities to develop high performing teams, along with strong analytical and technical skills to interpret complex data and synthesize insights for Executive Leadership supporting inventory and replenishment planning decisions Demonstrated collaboration, influencing, and communication skills to work successfully across business functions, management levels, and international borders Experience in CPG, ideally in perishable food product industry A passionate driver for continuous process improvement and attainment of KPI goals Ability to use forecasting and data analysis to determine business plan Ability to problem solve and provide resourceful correct conclusions. Ability to use data to exercise good business judgment and influence with a high level of creditability Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate information verbally and in writing Ability to train and develop team
