Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
•Supporting the Publicity Department at events, fostering great relationships with the media as well handling administrative tasks, as needed.
•Key Responsibilities
•Daily follow-up of press appearances and preparation of the “press clipping”
•Premiere and coverage reports for each film
•Management of the virtual press room (upimedia)
•Scheduling and coordination of press screenings
•Coordination of press materials
•Relationship with suppliers
•With the support of the Publicity Coordinator, manage the online communication plan and social media
•Support the work of the department: relationship with media, screenings and press conferences, organization of materials, visits, events, etc.
•Support the Publicity Manager with administrative tasks of the department
•Support in other areas of the marketing department
•Invoice tracking and SAP system
•University degree in Journalism, Communication or Marketing
•Knowledge of Spanish media environment
•Fluent in English
•Interest and knowledge of the cinematographic sector
•MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
•Knowledge of Internet and social media tools
•Availability to work full-time
•Proactive, communicative and a strong team player
•Creative and excellent organizational skills
•Excellent ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
•The studies must have been finished less than 3 years ago
