General Function: As part of the web content discipline, the Web Designer II creates and maintains web content, images, and digital design that are consistent with the Bank’s brand and internet standards. Candidates can support, enhance, and extend the Fifth Third Bank brand in the digital, unauthenticated space using knowledge of HTML and CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript. The Web Designer II should also ensure that all content on 53.com is accurate and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborates with Line of Business (LOB) and Centers of Excellence (COE) to define requirements and ensure integrity and functionality of assigned web projects, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Utilizes the Content Management System (CMS), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)Utilizes the brand design library to support brand, component, and layout consistency and functionality on 53.com.Creates user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for unauthenticated 53.com by implementing creative, intuitive solutions that support LOB and business needs in collaboration with senior developers and the design teams.Writes basic JavaScript functions to support and enhance content and 53.com user experience (UX).Manages relationships with vendors related to job function and Fifth Third Bank Information Technology partners.Assists with and manages various marketing technologies and marketing technology vendor relationships.Works with Information Technology partners to support personalization.Utilizes the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Management System (CMS) to apply component and layout standards to pre-defined templates.Maintains an ongoing awareness of current web design, digital design trends, and best practices.Provides design leadership and oversight to both internal and external resources.Utilizes basic analytics to support and optimize user experience (UX) across 53.com.Manages day-to-day maintenance tasks in a timely manner.Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Pattern Lab.Supports SEO and optimization objectives.Conduct accessibility audits/checks to ensure compliance with WCAG and ADA standards (PDFs, webpages, etc).QA (testing, reporting, tracking, ensuring compliance and standards)Other duties as required.At Fifth Third Bank, we understand the importance of rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication, therefore, our Total Rewards offering includes a differentiated compensation package and comprehensive benefits.Benefits:Our benefits programs are designed to support the health, happiness, and financial well-being of our employees and their families. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
