Overview We are seeking a Public Safety Officer , sometimes referred to as a Hospital Security Officer or Healthcare Security Officer . The P ublic S afety O fficer will p erform a range of security duties including electronic surveillance and routine manual patrols to ensure the safety of the facility. The Public Safety Officer will c oordinate responses to incidents involving patients, staff, and visitors while enforcing policies and procedures fairly and consistently. The Public Safety Officer will c ollaborate with the Environment of Care Committee to support a multidisciplinary approach to safety and security at our hospital . This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/ PRN as needed.
