**Overview**
**THE ROLE**
The Public Relations Intern is responsible for broad involvement in the communications planning process and influencer marketing. To see a project or campaign throughout and build relationships and rapport with client/s. Liaise and work together in a team to develop new ideas and approaches that will resonate with the end target.
**Responsibilities**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Understanding the client's business objectives and communication strategy.
+ The ability to serve the client's needs while leading the team in daily deliverables and implementation.
+ Assisting the team in preparing communication plans
+ Ensuring approved PR plans are in place and consistent.
+ Identifying target audiences and analyzing their characteristics, behavior, and content consumption habits.
+ The ability to research and identify social influencers and to analyze their relevance to the client's business objectives.
+ Maintaining good communication and relationship with newspapers, radio, magazines, and online publications as well as social influencers.
+ Undertaking research and analyzing data using specialist industry resources.
+ Monitoring and seeking ways to optimize the effectiveness of campaigns.
+ Maintaining records and preparing periodic reports as may be required on assigned accounts.
**Qualifications**
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, writing, and presentation skills.
+ Meticulous, detail-oriented and well-presented.
+ A self-starter and a team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
+ Ability to work under pressure and understand the urgencies of matter.
+ Must have a valid visa to work in Malaysia.
