Public Area Attendant The attendant will demonstrate commitment to the core values of St. George’s University. The candidate must exhibit their commitment to providing exemplary service to all and provide organizational and multi-tasking abilities. They must also contribute towards the success and growth of the department. Essential Functions + Perform routine cleaning of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest-accessible spaces. + Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly to uphold hygiene standards. + Keep entryways, walkways, and outdoor spaces clean and free from debris. + Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of public restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies (e.g., toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels). + Report any maintenance issues or damages found in public areas promptly to the appropriate department or supervisor. + Conduct regular inspections of designated areas to identify and address cleanliness and safety concerns. + Offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, helping to create a positive first impression for guests. + Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. + Assist in handling special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors or management. + Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. + Adhere to the policies and standards, including those related to cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance.
