About the department
As Public Affairs Manager, you will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Director. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to advancing Novo Nordisk’s mission in the Philippines. Our team thrives on innovation, strategic thinking, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes. Based in a fast-paced and engaging environment, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on healthcare policy and public engagement in the region.
The position
As a Public Affairs Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:
• Develop and execute advocacy and public engagement initiatives that align with long-term corporate objectives.
• Serve as the main liaison between Novo Nordisk and various stakeholders, including patient groups and government entities.
• Drive advocacy efforts by engaging policymakers and promoting legislation that enhances patient access to innovative treatments.
• Organize educational events to inform stakeholders about health policies while amplifying patient voices in decision-making processes.
• Monitor legislative developments and maintain a proactive crisis management plan, ensuring compliance with business ethics and Novo Nordisk policies.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in communications, political Science, marketing, management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, or communications within multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
• A proven track record in leading large-scale advocacy initiatives. Established relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and policy sectors is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the current pharmaceutical and market landscape. Experience in driving insight-driven and patient-centric approaches is desirable
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
