The Print Production Associate is a central part of the Print Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience using internet-based software and excellent customer service skills. The candidate must also be extremely flexible with their day-to-day responsibilities. The Print Production Associate should have a general knowledge of warehouse duties. Familiarity with Windows-based computers, the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time is also required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Print, seal, ship and quality check all print jobs Coordinate and prioritize with print production manager daily to ensure deadlines are met Operate and perform light maintenance and cleaning of print shop equipment Possesses knowledge of and remain current with USPS mailing requirements and regulations Keep accurate postage logs Responsible for maintaining a clean work area daily Any other duties as requested by the Print Production Manager Prepare machines for printing by checking toner levels and loading appropriate check stock for each print job Correct paper jams to avoid expensive losses of paper and ink Inspect print job to check for printing imperfections Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing Work under the guidance of the print production manager to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation Contribute to waste management and cardboard recycling programs Identify and report unsafe operations to print manager immediately

** This is a permanent part-time opportunity that requires reporting to the print shop every Tuesday and Wednesday**

Basic Qualifications/Skills:   

Related field or equivalent work experience Must be able to manage in an organized, proactive and independent manner to meet all required time frames and commitments Expected to work overtime as required during any calendar quarter-end and year-end job assignments Excellent customer service skills Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel Experience using FedEx and UPS shipment manager applications

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of HP and Xerox Printers is a plus Experience with HR and Payroll services Helpful Experience with the tax filing service business Experience with Uluro Document Management Software Preferred Highly motivated and team oriented Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Excellent time management skills

The pay range for this position is $28,400.00 to $40,850.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
