The Great River FAME opportunity is an earn and learn program, where a colleague/student will work 3 days a week and attend John Wood Community College 2 days a week. After successful completion of the program, colleagues/students will be awarded an associate's degree. While working for ADM, colleagues will utilize developed skills to implement the assigned activities of the predictive, preventive, or planned maintenance programs designed to support the power, motor control, process control systems, or pneumatic systems of the plant.

Essential Job Functions:Perform as a team member, or independently, to troubleshoot, diagnose, propose and implement repair solutions for electrical power and control equipment, as well as process control componentsComprehend and implement standard electrical work practices and guidelines including those outlined by organizations such as the National Fire Protection Agency (NEC) and the IEEE to ensure a quality, as well as compliant, productUtilize the functions of the maintenance management system to facilitate job plans and record maintenance activities on plant assetsUnderstands their role in food safety and quality systems, actively participates in food safety efforts and ensures all activities conform to good manufacturing practices.Responsible for utilizing the Performance Excellence process. Assist in the execution of scheduled preventative maintenance activities on electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.Accurately document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and test results, in accordance with company policies.Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Actively participate in training programs and shadow experienced maintenance personnel to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair tasks.Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process and equipment improvements, implementing solutions as directedJob Qualifications:
