**Education Qualifications:** **Psychotherapy - Amberwing** **Duluth, Minnesota** **Job Summary:** To provide therapeutic services and diagnostic services to patients. This includes but is not limited to individual, group, and family therapy, mental health intakes and assessments, diagnostics, and coordination of treatment services for the patient. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. **Practice Specifics:** • Join a care team of 4 Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psych NPs, Social Workers, Therapists, RNs, and additional support staff. • Plan and deliver mental health treatment for child and adolescent patients using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other accepted psychotherapeutic modalities of treatment. • Accurately assesses and diagnose the complaints presented by the patient and develop treatment plan in consultation with the patient and family, as appropriate. • Understand and apply the diagnostic criteria in the DSM 5, ICD-10 and other current diagnostic lexicons utilized by Essentia Health. • Deliver individual, group or family therapy as prescribed by the treatment plan, continuously evaluating progress and revising the plan when indicated. • Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 – 4:00 • No call • No current outreach **Preferred Qualifications:** • Experience in a medical or behavioral health setting • Experience providing care to a diverse population Certification/Licensure Requirements: • Licensed to practice psychotherapy in the state in which the position is based. Licensed or license-eligible to provide telehealth services in other states in the market Minnesota: • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW) or • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or • Licensed Professional Counselor or (LPC) or • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) **Location:** • Amberwing Center for Youth & Family Well-Being - created by the Miller-Dwan Foundation to provide the greatest level of compassion and skill, in the most welcoming of healing environments. May be required to work some early evening hours.
