As a Psychosocial Intervention (PSI) Worker you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them achieve their goals in recovery, by facilitating a variety of groups and activities, either in person or virtually. We have a varied program covering recovery from addiction, emotional skills, therapeutic and life skills amongst others.

Part Time Hours: 18.75 per week
Full Time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours)
* Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About the role:
Engage people who have substance misuse problems and provide them with advice, support and recovery focused structured clinical interventions to support their recovery and primary health care needsBuild therapeutic relationships and deliver a tailor-made package of care including 1 to 1 key work, pod, group work and clinical interventionsCarry out comprehensive service user assessments and develop individual recovery plans that clearly identify how achieving each goal will enable progression in addressing substance use, re/integrating into the communitySupport the development of service-based recovery communitiesCarry out risk assessments and risk managementWork with prescribing clinicians to support substitute prescribing regimes to improve social functioningTo be creative and innovative so that the post best meets the needs of the service user, promoting access into treatment, and continued engagement with under-represented communities
About you:
Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related fieldA commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group, e.g. mental health services, criminal justice agencies, community groups etcTraining in ITEP/BTEI or other structured psychosocial interventionsThe ability to communicate complex information to individuals and groups in a way that is easily understoodThe ability to liaise and work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and agencies
