Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) **This is a Stanford Health Care job.** **A Brief Overview** Under the supervision of a Neuropsychologist or Psychologist, the Psychometrist performs a variety of duties involved in administering and scoring a battery of psychological and/or neuropsychological tests in accordance with clearly defined procedures, at the request of, and under the clinical direction of, a licensed Psychologist or Neuropsychologist. **Locations** Stanford Health Care **What you will do** + Communicates with Psychologists, Neuropsychologists and related hospital personnel + Ensures confidentiality of test results and recommendations; maintains security of testing materials. + Explains testing procedures and objectives to patients, and works with patients to facilitate compliance with protocol and procedures to ensure appropriate test completion. + For study participants, maintains study lists documenting procedures completed by each participant as well as other pertinent information as determined by the Neuropsychologist. + Observes patients carefully before, during and after testing; records behavioral observations and reports to Psychologist or Neuropsychologist any information that may affect the validity and significance of test results. + Organizes testing materials to optimize timeliness and clarity of the evaluation. + Administers selected neuropsychological tests and test batteries to patients to measure clinical factors such as intellectual functioning, presence and extent of organic involvement, personality characteristics, and psychopathology. Administers and score tests using a standardized format, Uses a normative database when converting scores.
