This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic about working in paediatrics, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and has a strong desire for professional growth and skill development. We are looking for a psychologist who can carry out psychoeducational assessments of school-aged children. We are particularly looking for someone interested in dedicating a concentrated amount of time to testing. A strong applicant is high energy, has a positive attitude, and has a passion for helping children and families. You will work with a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. This is your chance to join and contribute to a great organization. **Benefits:** - Engagement with an interdisciplinary team, with staff from rehab and medical disciplines. - Collaborative and supportive work environment. - Comprehensive administrative assistance for schedule management. - Room for career advancement and skill development. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive psychological assessments exploring a wide range of learning, attention, and/or mental health needs. - Responsible for administering and scoring psychological measures of children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. - Generate clinical summaries and reports of psychometric results in order to provide feedback to the assessing psychologist and the multidisciplinary team. - Provide observations relevant for interpretation of assessment results and offer recommendations for intervention. - Follow an evidence-based approach to assessment. - Manage a varied caseload and meet required timelines. - Maintain complete and accurate medical records using the Electronic Medical Record system. - Summer contract position. Opportunity to extend as well. **Qualifications:** - M.A. or Ph.D. in Psychology (Ph.D. students and students in supervised practice welcome). - Course work and previous clinical experience in administering and scoring psychometric measures with children and adolescents. - Knowledge of child and adolescent psychosocial development and psychopathology.
