Shift: Days

Daily Work Times: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Scheduled Biweekly Hours: 72

Pay Range: $17.24 - $21.37 (based on full-time years' experience)

 

Position Summary:

 

Provides care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsible for recording and reporting patient's status, conditions and outcome of care to facilitate the treatment process.      

Required:

Associates degree in human services field or science, or;High school diploma with three years providing direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric unit or residential setting, or;High school diploma with three years of relevant experience in human services (social services, law enforcement, community mental health, or criminal justice) or working as security officer in a hospital setting

Preferred:

Certification as Psychiatric Technician Previous experience working on an inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric unit
