Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health Team in our Edgewater facility located at 239 N. Ridgewood Avenue. Office hours are 8-5, Mon-Fri, outpatient only, no weekends. Some of our larger multi-specialty hubs offer Behavioral Health, Diabetes Education, EHCC Walk In, Endocrinology, Lab, Primary Care, Pharmacy, Ultrasound, Bone Density, Wound Care, and X-ray all onsite. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner • Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license • Experience in Addiction and Mental Health • Motivational Interviewing experience • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual diagnoses. • Treatment planning • Ability to conduct and utilize comprehensive assessments • Timely and quality documentation; experience with EMR (Epic a plus) • Eligibility to work in the United States.
