PSD Assistant Intern
The PSD Assistant Intern is responsible for providing administrative support in the location to the PSD Manager. The support will enable the PSD Manager to focus on core Service Delivery activities. The candidate gains exposure to career opportunities within the oil and gas technology industry and discovers SLB's role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job. Candidate’s duties may include the following: + Support PSD activities in the location. + Assign Operators to jobs in accordance with their competency and development plans (in the absence of a WFC). + Track job start and end dates in the planning system of record (iDistrict, JMP, FDP) to coordinate scheduling, mobilization, and de-mobilization. + Support data entry in the planning system of record (iDistrict, JMP, FDP) related to personnel and initiate relevant notifications to all involved parties. + Review Operators availability and work with GM Workforce Coordinator as required to cover imbalances. + Coordinate with PSD Manager on an effective adherence to work schedule and balance of days of rest, vacation, and rig days. + Provide support for field employee travel (hot shot scheduling, helicopters, rig site accomodations, personnel lists for the client, etc). + Assist other functions in the location as directed by the PSD Manager. + Follow prescribed internship guidelines for each week as closely as possible. Note: While the opportunity for technically-trained professionals is large, these jobs are unique in their scope and responsibility and require a special kind of individual to succeed. The internship will enable the candidate and SLB determine if these requirements are met before committing to a full time job. + Currently pursuing or Recent graduate of an Associate’s or BSc.
