Position:              PS&T Scientist

Reporting to:        Head of MS&T

Location:             Karachi -Landhi Plant

Job Summary:

PS&T Scientists is responsible to support the Head of MS&T in key initiatives including product reformulation, alternate supplier qualification, and resolution of process-related challenges. The role is also responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of finished products by addressing technical issues and driving continuous improvement in existing formulations.

Major Responsibilities:

Support alternate source qualification and material risk managementTroubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to prevent backorders, in alignment with the Head of MS&TExecute stability batches for new projects and evaluate critical process parameters (CPPs) and critical quality attributes (CQAs)Monitor cGMP compliance within the MS&T area and review manufacturing directionsMaintain EHS, GMP, and GLP standards in the MS&T environmentPrepare and update SOPs for manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring their implementationProvide technical support for affiliate CI projects as neededDevelop bills of materials, manufacturing directions, and specifications for new materials and packagingPrepare and review technical project packages related to formula/process changes and validationDetermine qualitative/quantitative formulas and evaluate suitable solvent systems for new formulationsAssist in bioequivalence evaluations and set in-process testing limits (e.g., friability, hardness, DT)Ensure color matching and select appropriate manufacturing techniques for process efficiency

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

Science Graduate/Master; preferably Pharm D2-3 years’ experience in the same capacity Proficient in MS OfficeTeamwork and problem-solving skills
