Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.
If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership. If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

Education & Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field. 3+ years of work experience in customer service, provider service, network development, or telephone sales Experience in negotiating sales to move a business forward Familiarity with contract negotiationsOr an equivalent combination of education and experience

Sales territory management experience to include contract negotiations, and fee schedule negotiations in a network development related fieldTravel
≤ 50%Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Strategically identify and generate new leads for provider recruitment to the Aflac Dental and Vision network.
• Recruit and maintain an adequate providers’ network in assigned regions by being able to explain the value in joining the Aflac Dental and Vision network.
• Obtain and submit accurate and completed provider applications required for credentialing and contracting.
• Build and maintain relationships with provider prospects and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and results for Aflac Dental and Vision.
• Collaborate cross functionally with other internal departments to optimize the recruitment and onboarding process to achieve all collective goals defined by leadership.
• Maintain and build strong business relationships with providers and champion their requests to ensure a positive Provider experience and instill confidence in the Aflac Dental and Vision brand.
• Negotiate/re-negotiate contracts and fees with providers while being cognizant of utilization and cost.
• Be able to identify and problem solve all issues daily to sustain relationships and ensure low provider network abrasion and attrition.
• Monitoring of various reports to ensure all necessary network requirements are met.
• Perform network audit duties as necessary to ensure Provider directory accuracy and compliance with all directory reporting.
• As directed, take prompt action with all provider communications to ensure quick resolution to any issue.
• Track assigned duties and activities using the appropriate company resource (i.e. Network 360, logging into phone systems, etc.)
• Use knowledge of negotiating entities to improve and enable a competitive advantage in network contracting process.
• Facilitate external leadership meetings to help drive strategic alignment and execution of network goals.
• Performs other duties as needed.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this job is $70,000 to $90,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.
At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
