Prototype Development Lead
**Summary:** Meta Robotics Studio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prototype Development Lead to join our team. As a Prototype Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of prototypes from concept to delivery, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure successful execution. **Required Skills:** Prototype Development Lead Responsibilities: 1. Work with internal and vendor teams to manage operation resources to execute prototype builds 2. Work with Research Engineers to deliver prototypes as requested 3. Provide conflict resolution to schedule setbacks by developing and implementing recovery plans 4. Work with program management to ensure assembly flow is properly supported by all functions to deliver material and hardware on schedule 5. Reports to upper leadership with program status and risk assessment metrics to support short-term and long-term goals 6. Responsible for communicating the prototype build plan across multiple programs 7. Establish a clear plan and prototype path forward by defining project scope, timelines, and resource 8. establishing requirements including budget 9. identifying and mitigate risks and dependency 10. developing and implementing a detailed project schedule and milestones 11. coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration 12. and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards 13. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal teams 14. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 15. BS degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field 16. 10+ years of experience in consumer electronic products 17. Experience with hardware development cycle, and sustaining hardware 18. Experience in manufacturing assembly and test development 19. Experience leading engineers and technicians in daily work and building teams **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 20. Experience optimizing design of existing products or devices 21. Experience with optical electro-mechanical systems 22. Experience with building cross-functional relationships 23.
