As the Prototype Coordinator Intern, you will play a key role in assisting with the planning, budgeting, and coordination of prototype builds. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing logistics and component availability, and supporting the overall efficiency of the prototype development process.

Your tasks:

Support Prototype Coordinator/Leader in maintaining a plan to build prototypes for various projectsSupport Prototype Coordinator/Leader in controlling budget for prototype needDefining the prototype's needs for individual components of the prototype project based on technical documentationTracking orders of individual items and ensuring the availability of individual componentsCooperation with electrical, mechanical and product validation teamsCooperation with Aptiv logistics departments and suppliersProtecting confidential information and taking care of the company's propertySupport organizing components in warehouseActive participation in creating new and improving existing processes in the Prototype TeamPreparing component shipments to factories/external SMT companies, creating summary lists and stay in contact to verify delivery

Your background:

During higher technical or economic education – student status requiredKnowledge of EnglishAvailability minimum 20 hours per weekTeam playerCommunication skillsAnalytical skillsKnowledge of MS Office – VBA knowledge would be an additional assetSAP knowledge would be an additional asset
