The Innovation Consumables Global Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for new antibodies and reagents across the Protein and Cell Analysis (PCA) portfolio within Thermo Fisher Scientific. This highly collaborative, strategic, and meticulous marketer will help bring innovative reagent solutions to life—supporting product launches that span scientific application areas.
This role requires strong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills, working closely with a wide range of colleagues including product managers, regional marketing, R&D, and commercial teams. The chosen candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, can quickly learn new technologies and markets, and has capable of translating product capabilities into clear, differentiated customer messaging.
A Day in the lifeDevelop plans for each new product technology to drive awareness and demand.
Collaborate with product managers and technical product guides to build content and messaging.
Understand the 3Cs and 4Ps for the portfolio and align the launch strategy with revenue goals of the annual operating plan (AOP) and market share objectives.
Measure efficiency using leading and lagging indicators. Communicate NPI GTM plans and readiness through regular global product marketing review regional calls.
Collect regional feedback and address any gaps.
Ensure GTM and regional alignment through PCP gate reviews and updates.
Work closely with product and program managers to meet PCP requirements for PAC review and approval.
Lead the PCA innovation campaign, including updating Innovation Hub website each month with content to drive awareness of NPIs, crafting and deploying a quarterly e-newsletter and updating the sales brochure biannually (June and December) for inclusion in EIAB and other events.
Coordinate all GTM tactics with the core portfolio GMD to identify alignments, particularly for marketing web pages.
Implement demand generation through various channels, such as internal social posts, internal newsletters, live social employee advocacy, and organic social posts.
Develop new digital strategies to improve and elevate core consumable new products in conjunction with PCA and divisional campaigns.
Prepare a GTM package for the core GMD upon PRC implementation.
Use the NPI Consumables MS Teams mechanism to connect with team members, supplemented by Outlook sends as requested.
Teams should be the primary hub for all work in process, global product marketing review decks, and completed plans and materials.
Keys to SuccessEducation
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or STEM area.
Experience
3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in life sciences or scientific tools sectors.
Capability to develop and implement go-to-market plans for technical products.
Tight-knit collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with product and R&D teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence and align with diverse collaborators.
Capacity to learn new products and technologies, analyze market data and apply insights to strategy
Strong project management skills and high attention to detail.
Customer-centric mind-set with an understanding of buyer journeys and scientific customer personas.
Capability to travel globally (up to 25%).

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$125,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
