ABOUT THE ROLE

Perform secondary injection testing of protection relays and schemes. Commission HV protection systems across substations and industrial sites. Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and test plans. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure safe and accurate commissioning. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in protection and control systems.

 

ABOUT YOU

EWRB Registration – a must-have or is eligible. Proven experience in HV protection testing and commissioning. Strong understanding of secondary systems, including CT/VT circuits and relay logic. Familiarity with test equipment such as OMICRON (CPC100 + TD12, CMC356, Testrano, CT Analyser, Dirana, Cibano500), VLF, Hipot, SFRA. Familiarity with test equipment softwares such as PTM, Test Universe & Frax Familiarity with Protection Relays & associated softwares for SEL, Multilin, Siemens, Micom, Beckwith and AVR DECs Relays. Excellent communication and documentation skills. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

 

Bonus Points For:

Experience with IEC 61850 or digital substations. Knowledge of SCADA integration and automation systems. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
