Description:
You will be the Senior Manager of Proposal Operations for our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for leading proposal development and operations across MFC, with a presence in Orlando, Florida, and Grand Prairie, Texas.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Manager of Proposal Operations, you will lead a diverse team of professionals, including Proposal Managers, Graphic Designers, Writers, Production Specialists, and AI Curators. You will oversee the development and implementation of proposal strategies and operations, supporting key MFC captures and initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading a geographically dispersed team across Orlando and Grand Prairie
• Establishing business-level training programs for Proposal Writing and Management
• Providing hands-on mentoring and training for new team members
• Supporting key captures and initiatives, including leadership of Proposal Color Teams

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires selected candidate to have DOD Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• 10 years experience working competitive proposal development for US and foreign government competitive pursuits; as well as publishing in the defense industry.
• Ability to obtain a TS Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with the development of competitive discriminators, RFP compliance evaluation and management, and internal and external reviews to ensure strategies are appropriately included in the proposal as well as the management of proposal reviews to ensure the production of a winning proposal.
• Knowledge of current alternative proposal processes and systems to support commercial as well as hybrid business models.
• Extensive publishing and graphics generation experience.
• Extensive New Business Capture experience.
• Strategic thinking.
• Aerospace and Defense industry knowledge.
• Superior writing ability.
• Strong Communication, Analytical, and Leadership skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
