The Proposal Management Group’s mission is to create best-in-class, client-focused, responsive, compliant, and persuasive proposals that convert to wins. Our Government Healthcare and Eligibility group responds to bids for critical and essential health services.

We are looking for a Proposal Manager to oversee the entire proposal process for complex state and local governments in the US, from solution meetings to proposal delivery. 

\n

Responsibilities:

\n\n Leading the proposal development process.\n Planning and leading kick-off, status meetings, and all color reviews.\n Establishing and maintaining a compliant outline, a proposal schedule, a compliance matrix, and style convention guidelines. \n Initiating and ensuring RFP and appropriate proposal sections are reviewed by legal, contracts, and insurance groups (working with capture manager/sales lead).\n Reviewing all sections.\n Ensuring proposal compliance with RFP requirements.\n Ensuring proposal submission by the client-provided deadlines.\n Managing multiple proposals simultaneously.\n Communicating responsibilities and expectations.\n Creating a positive work environment, demonstrating a professional attitude, and meeting established goals and responsibilities while working with colleagues.\n\n

Requirements:

\n\n Hold a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing, or possess at least five (5) years of experience in large-scale proposals.\n Demonstrate competency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word.\n Exhibit exceptional proofreading, editing, and persuasive writing skills.\n Be adept at overall RFP analysis.\n Exhibit the ability to manage multiple proposals at the same time.\n Possess strong project management skills.\n Demonstrate the capacity to absorb new information and address complex business challenges quickly.\n Show a strong presence, credibility, and confidence when collaborating with senior colleagues.\n\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The approximate compensation for this position is $115-$140k annually.
