We are looking to recruit an experienced Proposal Manager to join our team based in Dubai, UAE and will be responsible for coordinating high-quality responses to Client inquiries, including opportunities, requests for information, This role is not supervisory but requires extensive field & technical experience and the ability to mentor junior team members. We are seeking a candidate with strong field experience in Survey, offshore Experience Marine Site Characterization either in Oil & Gas or Renewable Industry
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed proposals, cost estimations, and tender submissions for marine site characterization projects, with a strong emphasis on environmental and metocean activities.Develops and implement pricing strategies, cost analyses, and bid/no-bid decisions for strategically important projectsBuilds strong, collaborative relationships across teams and regions, fostering open communication and teamwork to achieve proposal and business objectivesUnderstands client needs and expectations, ensuring proposals and commercial strategies are tailored to deliver value and win businessTakes ownership of proposal outcomes, pricing strategies, and team performance, delivering results with integrity and reliabilityApplies commercial insight to develop competitive pricing, assess business risks, and contribute to strategic decision-making that drives growth and profitabilityEnsure all submissions align with company processes and are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.Identify and manage risks related to HSSE, finances, contracts, and technical considerations.Collaborate with commercial, business development, technical, and operational teams to create compelling, competitive proposals that support Fugro's strategic goals and client requirements.Represent Fugro in client meetings, strengthening business relationships, clarifying proposals, negotiating contracts, and shaping bid strategies.Facilitate handover briefings and provide ongoing commercial guidance to project management teams after contract awards.Continuously seeks to improve knowledge of industry trends, technical disciplines (ROV, Marine Geophysics, Offshore), and commercial practices to enhance team performance and proposal successAct as the primary escalation point for technical issues during ongoing operations.Maintain and update CRM systems and KPI monitoring tools to track progress and performance.Support marketing efforts and help promote Fugro’s full range of services.What Skills & Experience Will You Have?
Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geotechnics, Geology or related Engineering discipline 5 to 10 years of offshore field experience in Survey, Engineering, or Business Development.5 to 10 years of offshore field experience in Survey, Engineering, or Business DevelopmentMarine experience is mandatory. Metocean or Environmental experience is a plus.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in autonomous operations.Knowledge of applicable codes, guidelines, and standards.What we offer
